Four years in the making, “In Darkness All Shadows Gone” is a 12-track conceptual opus. Featuring the Caldas Symphonic Orchestra, Tuvan throat singing, and dense atmospheric passages, the album blends Gothenburg-style death metal with dark, cinematic orchestration. Conceptually, it follows the shamanic figure of the crow, a seeker traveling through existence, the void, and ultimate self-discovery.
Closing the album on an uncompromising note, “Soy Real” is a deep bow to the band’s own roots: ESHTADUR takes the anthem by Colombian metal pioneers Kraken and transforms the classic into a pitch-black melodic death metal wrecking ball. Delivered entirely in the band’s native Spanish, the track is a fierce strike against social numbness and living as a hollow, controlled puppet. It is a brutal reckoning with illusion: anyone who is merely the echo of others and doesn’t scream for themselves isn’t truly real. Crowned by a razor-sharp guitar solo from Camilo Barbosa, the band ends the record with raw fury, delivering the perfect fuse for their highly anticipated upcoming tour stops in Spain.
