Dani Felt’s “Hatter” is a dark-pop fantasy built on hypnotic production, flirtation, and late-night energy — a perfect fit for indie pop, dark electronic, and after-hours vibes playlists.
Inspired by the whimsical chaos of Alice in Wonderland, the dark electronic pop anthem blends fantasy, flirtation, longing, and dance-floor energy into a soundtrack for dreamers, romantics, and late-night adventurers.
Co-written by Dani Felt and Grant Woell and produced by Woell in Nashville, with mixing by Dallas Jack, Hatter was inspired by a vacation crush and the intoxicating feeling of wanting someone so badly that reality begins to blur into fantasy. Written during a New Year’s songwriting trip to Nashville, the track captures the excitement of attraction, possibility, and getting swept away in a moment.
Driven by hypnotic production and infectious melodies, Hatter invites listeners to dream into fantasy, dance the night away, and embrace the thrill of longing for someone. Equal parts playful and addictive, the song celebrates those moments when imagination takes over and anything feels possible.
The Wonderland-inspired visual campaign features artwork by PoseManikin and photography by Kidtee Hello Photography, bringing Dani’s whimsical yet dark vision to life.
“Hatter” is available now on all major streaming platforms.
There is a videogram, with the aforementioned music, on the internet.
