The new album Spin by Nik Bärtsch’s RONIN will be released on Ronin Rhythm Records on Friday, November 28th.
Spin is the ninth album by the internationally established nano-funk band RONIN. Over the past four years, they have developed the pieces on sold-out tours in the USA, Europe and Asia, as well as in weekly concerts at Club EXIL. New is the compact and earthy band sound, shaped by the new bassist Jeremias Keller, with references to indie, post-rock and ambient pop. The band is celebrating the 20th anniversary of their MONTAGS concert series this November. Simultaneously with the release of the album, the documentary film “Ingredients for Disaster” by British director Julian Phillips about the band will be released on Nik Bärtsch’s YouTube channel.
