Leyka Unleashes metalcore anthem, ‘Coffin Nail’

With their blistering new track ‘Coffin Nail’Leyka channel unfiltered rage into a genre-bending metalcore anthem that pulls no punches. For fans of August Burns RedBury Tomorrow, and Make Them Suffer, this is a battle cry against apathy—fueled by thunderous riffs and unapologetically critical lyrics.

Following the introspective journeys of ‘Requiem’ and ‘Resurrection’, Leyka now stares society in the face, demanding we do better.

With ‘Coffin Nail’, Leyka prove once again that they draw no boundaries between the various core genres and are in no way inferior to international heavyweights such as August Burns Red, Bury Tommorow and Make Them Suffer. On their first two EPs ‘Resurrection’ (2024) and ‘Requiem’ (2023), they dealt with inner conflicts and the pursuit of personal development. This time, a raw wave of instrumental rage and critical lyrics follow against the increasing right-wing populist discourse and the brutalisation of social values currently raging in society.

“When our guitarist Yves sent me the first instrumental demo, I realized from the first chorus that this song was what we needed. The opportunity to lyrically package the cognitive dissonance in the face of the ice-cold political discourse in an aggressive sound. And to finally give a face to the feeling of powerlessness and frustration.” – Tom (Vocals)

LEYKA are the first signing on the new metal/core label at GOLDEN TIDES and have a lot planned for 2025: After various summer festivals, an extensive tour of Germany with Dead Phoenix is planned. The band is currently working on more songs and their debut album, which is planned for 2026.
