Uzziel – Like A God – Austrian groove / thrash metal

The depths of the human psyche are unfathomable and often remain hidden. The friendly neighbor next door, the banker, or the insurance broker—all of them could harbor dark secrets. This very theme is addressed by “Like A God,” the new single by the Austrian thrash and groove metal band UZZIEL.

With this new recording, UZZIEL consistently continue along their musical path. Following “Captured By Emptiness,” “Like A God” marks another step in the band’s current work. Since 2011, the band has secured a firm place in the Austrian and German metal scene, which they now revisit with their reworked song material.

On February 14, UZZIEL played in Amberg (Bavaria) together with the heavy metallers from Reaper’s Revenge, presenting their new single “Like A God” in its latest version live for the first time. On April 12, they will be a mainstay of the Stormrage Festival.
