MAL ARDENT is a hidden role party game where Faithful and Possessed confront each other.
The universe is set in a village ravaged by four plagues: the Maleplague, War, Famine and Madness.
Each player will offer a Judge a Prayer card to deliver the village from Evil, while the Possessed, hidden among the Faithful and knowing each other, will have to disrupt the game in order to annihilate the village.
The Faithful will have to take one of the Scourges to Redemption and the Possessed will have to pull one of the Scourges to the Evil of the Burning, which inevitably falls on the village at each turn, while trying not to be unmasked.
The game created by Guillaume Tocco, Régis Vimeux, Maxime Brosset and Célia Pédel; published by Les Acteurs de L’Ombre Productions and distributed by JeuDElire will be released on February 28, 2025. It will be preceded on January 24 by its original soundtrack composed by CORBAC, HYVERMOR and QUENTIN FOUREAU in the form of a double CD digipack of Dungeon Synth!
