New Single “Böse Schlange” by Donaublut – A Dark-Electro Drama About Sinister Love
The dynamics of falling in love often start innocently – a crush that quickly develops into a deep yearning for another person and threatens to engulf one entirely. Sometimes, the spell of a person’s allure is simply irresistible, especially when they skillfully use it to play a hidden and deceitful game.
This intense experience can easily spiral into a vicious cycle of obsession and madness, especially when the deceitful tongue of a beautiful snake begins to show little by little. The snake’s poison serves as a metaphor for the evil done to one in the seemingly benevolent game.
This dramatic interplay of desire and doom forms the thematic basis of the new single “Boese Schlange” (Malicious Snake) and its accompanying music video by Donaublut, the Austrian Dark Electro/Electro-Industrial solo project founded in Vienna.

Since its inception by former Exit To Eden singer Bernhard Pfeiffer in April 2021, Donaublut has made a significant mark on the Gothic scene. Its debut, a fusion of electronic music and Dark Wave, already set a clear direction for the project’s musical journey.
With “Boese Schlange,” Donaublut returns, showcasing an even more intense, untamed side. The song outlines the perilous games of a relationship in which one person is at risk of losing their sanity. While the verses maintain a certain restraint, the chorus unleashes the full force of the song with a rocky attitude, breaking free from emotional shackles.
Bernhard “Bernie” Pfeiffer, the creative mind behind Donaublut, is responsible for the composition, lyrics, vocals, and production, and also directed the music video. For this song, Bernhard Pfeiffer has enlisted an old comrade: David Guger, also known from Exit To Eden, enriches the track with his guitar parts, thus enhancing the aggressive nature of “Boese Schlange.”
On April 26th, “Boese Schlange” will be released as both a music video and a single on all major platforms through NRT-Records. A must for all fans of electronic industrial and Gothic music.
