Louise Connell – New Charity Single Release

This is something we don’t usually do as we never feel very comfortable with it, but for once we’re actively asking for your support. 

I have a new single out this week. On writing this particular song I decided that if we ever released it commercially, I wanted all proceeds from sales, downloads and streams of it to highlight the work across the UK of The Trussell Trust and to raise desperately needed funds for our local food bank.

There are 33 food banks in our local region alone (which is a dreadful state of affairs) and they are struggling. Everyone who worked on this track very kindly did so free of charge, in order that we can maximise the funds it might raise for the charity. We’re asking if you could, if at all possible, rather than streaming the track please pay 99 pence for a download instead (it would take around 300 streams to raise this amount) or even better buy a CD of the EP from us directly at Bandcamp. 

I don’t think we’ve ever asked directly on here for people to buy any of my music, and we probably never will again – but if you were ever considering paying for any of it, please make it this song. And please support the work of The Trussell Trust. Louise xxx
