Lucy Zirins releases new limited edition live album “Live at the Old Courts”

“Live at the Old Courts” was recorded as part of the Acoustic Roots season at Wigan’s not for profit arts venue The Old Courts, the gig recorded in May 2017 features 15 live musical tracks, including 12 original live arrangements of songs taken from acclaimed BBC Radio 2 and Radio 6 played album ‘Chasing Clocks’ (2012) and EP ‘What’s in Front of Me’ (2015), as well as 2 unreleased tracks, never recorded before.

The live album also includes 3 covers: an arrangement of traditional song “Make Me Down a Pallet on Your Floor”, Ben E. King’s popular standard ‘Stand by Me’ and the lesser known American songwriter John Hartford’s ‘In Tall Buildings’. The album also features 5 ‘interludes’ of chat – a big part of my live shows as you all know!!
