Standing Over Elvis is the new single from Paul Brand (Nov 17th : Paul Brand Music) 

It’s taken from his current album, 12 Songs. The new album also contains the track Walking up the Royal Mile, which was filmed in Edinburgh.

Paul is an Edinburgh based singer songwriter and guitarist who has been hooked with a song writing habit since he was a teenager. A habit that has seen him take to the stage in music hotbeds such as Nashville, San Francisco and New York. 

Standing Over Elvis shines a light on Paul’s virtuoso talents and as radio friendly as they come. Taken from the new album 12 Songs . An album that showcases Paul’s guitar and vocal talents to the full. Recorded at the Slate Room Studio, Pencaitland in Scotland, the album is available through the Paul Brand Music website and the CD format can also be purchased from Coda Music shop in Edinburgh. 

Featuring contributions from fifteen musicians in total, the album was named album of the week on Blues and Roots Radio based in Canada and the album has already received support from radio shows around the UK, including former BBC Scotland DJ Tom Morton’s Beach Croft Social internet show.
