3MS Music are delighted to announce that they will release the debut album “Nightmares” from Kiss The Gun on 27 October 2017 on CD and LP [Cat No 3MS012CD / 3MS012LP]. Truly an international affair, the band features the astonishing vocal talents of Georgia’s Nadin Zakharian, soaring lead guitars and a seriously thumping rhythm section. The songs on “Nightmares” are packed with catchy hooks and melodies – but make no mistake; they rock!
Kiss The Gun were born early 2016. Bassist Dave South, whose own background takes in both the original NWOBHM and the world of dance, found Nadin online. Having heard the early demoes she jumped at the chance to join the band, jetting in from Tbilisi for recording sessions. Nadin was already well-known in her native Georgia having made the semi-finals of TV shows ‘Talented’ and ‘The Voice of Georgia’. Her version of System Of A Down’s ‘Toxicity’ alone has over 1.5 million views on YouTube. The band also features Gerry Hearn on lead guitar, who has toured with everyone from Uriah Heep to Pixie Lott, Graham Exton on rhythm guitar, Rob Taylor on drums [and trombone!].
The band have become an incredibly tight creative unit and are in the process of pulling together more live dates to take ‘Nightmares’ out on the road. Nadin loved the energy that typified the recording sessions at London’s Smokehouse Studios, “We recorded the album in 5 days. It was very nice. There was absolutely no tension: we joked a lot and recorded the album playfully.”
Kiss The Gun are just starting their journey, but with ‘Nightmares’ it seems that their dreams are coming true…
