Cats In Space are delighted to announce that they have been added to the bill on the Deep Purple UK tour of November 2017.
Guitarist Greg Hart said, “It’s been a pretty amazing year so far, and to be asked to do these shows makes me realise we’ve come a really long way in the 5 minutes or so since we formed the band. Deep Purple fans are clearly lovers of quality music, and our tunes are huge, so we’re confident we’ll make a good impression in these arenas. Bring it on baby, the Cats are coming, in fact we can’t wait!”
Cats In Space have just completed a UK tour of their own in support of their second album ‘Scarecrow’ – the Deep Purple support was announced from the stage at their final Borderline show last night! The album has been given rave reviews across the board, both home and abroad.
Powerplay said, “Those melodies we loved on the debut? Those backing vocals? The sense of pop and performance? All here. All still present. All just brilliant. This is frequently breathtaking.”
Classic Rock said, “Vocal harmonies – fabulous, luscious and pouting – rule the roost in AOR-style pop”.
HRH magazine simply concluded, “Feline it yet? You will be!”
With ten brand new songs, ‘Scarecrow’ will rock you into submission, but they will also bring a smile to your face. And, in this increasingly wicked world, there’s a lot to be said for that.
Their exuberant 70s-inspired music may hark back to the glory days but, by delivering no-holds-barred live shows at full throttle across the country, their committed and sincere approach to blowing the roof off is finding a warm welcome.
Every live show and every single radio play brings them new fans – Cats In Space have a fine line in purr-suasion! Don’t miss them on the Deep Purple tour!
