MITA is delighted to announce the signing of multi-million selling artist and music pioneer, Sandi Thom. Since her multi-platinum debut, Sandi has performed all over the world and is currently working on her sixth studio album which the label are looking forward to releasing it in the Autumn of this year.
Currently residing in West Hollywood California, Sandi recently headed home to her native Scotland on May 2nd where she performed at the ‘Burns an’ a’ That! Festival’ on Scotland’s West Coast. Further live dates will follow throughout the summer leading into a nationwide tour culminating at the Jazz Café on November 21st.
Sandi Thom rose to fame after her debut single ‘I wish I Was a Punk Rocker (With Flowers In My Hair)’ topped the UK charts after a series of webcasts from her basement flat catapulted her into the mainstream.
There have been four studio albums, one compilation, and two live albums in total; ‘The Pink And The Lily’ (2008), ‘The Best Of Sandi Thom’ (2009), ‘Live’ (2009), ‘Live Sessions’ (2010), ‘Merchants and Thieves’ (2010), ‘Flesh and Blood’ (2012) and ‘Covers Collection’ (2013).
This is the next chapter for Sandi Thom and MITA can’t wait to be part of it.
