First off, big thanks to those of you who came along to the recently restored Old Town Hall in Weymouth on Friday, for our evening of music, friends, booze and nibbles. What a loverly way to spend a few hours… we should definitely do it again soon! We used the rather special occasion to launch the first ever single by Wilson, what I am proud to be the bass player in. Our debut single is called ‘Pretty Girl in a Small Town’ and is available exclusively from Bandcamp for just a couple of quid, or 2 British Pounds if you are outside of the Empire.

The digital single comes with a great (and previously unreleased) version of the live favourite ‘Little Friend’, recorded with superstar guitarist Robbie McIntosh (Tom Jones/Macca/Knopfler to name drop just a few). We recently had loads of fun around Weymouth and West Bay, making a promo video for the single, which you can watch here:
Today also sees the “official” release of Peter Lacey’s vinyl single. Again, huge thanks to everyone who has supported this venture by ordering it. Everyone I have previously spoken to (labels/bands), warned me that it’s all but impossible to break-even on a vinyl release. Well, we’re just over half way there already thanks to you… so maybe we’ll succeed in bucking that particular trend. But even if we don’t, we’re very proud to have released such a marvellous artefact and glad that so many of you have shared in the experience, thanks!
Esteemed music writer Jeff Penczak, has given us a wonderful review of the single which nearly bought a tear to my eye:

If you want to listen to Peter’s single and either download it, or buy the vinyl version (which includes the digital download), then pop along here:

If you are in Europe you can order the vinyl single from:

And our American friends can also get copies from Kool Kat Musik, who have copies in stock right now:
I will leave you with a little preview of a new album that we are releasing soon by The Inexperienced. Lots more info to follow, but for now, check out this cool tune:
It’s an instrumental track and not really reflective of the album, but there’s a great Moog solo about half way through that I could eat with a spoon!
Thanks very much for all your support, take care and enjoy the new music.
