David Aldo (Blood, Sweat & Tears) releases debut solo single in November

With seven No1 solo singles, voted South Africa’s Best Male Vocalist, front man for

multi-platinum selling iconic group Blood Sweat & Tears and such a vastly cascading

line of celebrity fans that it looks like a night at the Oscars – David Aldo is known

as THE voice of choice amongst those in the know. Now this Brit born star brings

his globally renowned talent back to his motherland as he releases his UK debut

album, ‘David Aldo’ on a worldwide platform in early 2015, preceded by his first UK

single ‘Just You’ on November 3rd

David Aldo is worldly wise. Born in the UK, raised in South Africa and now a

resident in Los Angeles, David’s exposure to life across three continents means he

understands and empathises with a broad range of cultures and lifestyles – which is

probably why he’s instantly loved wherever he performs. David has built a career on

hit singles, world tours, performing with international superstars and being dubbed

the ‘Artist To The Stars’ by being the first call performer for celebrity clientele such

as: Donald Trump, Oprah Winfrey, Tom Cruise, Russell Crowe, James Caan, Clive

Davis, Rod Stewart and Elton John; as well as making his performances a staple at

the world famous Beverly Hills Hotel Polo Lounge.

A paradox in the modern world of celebrity, David Aldo is a modest family man who

seems unphased by the glittering celebrity which gravitates towards him. His stories

of the glitterati are incredible with the likes of Dustin Hoffman sponsoring his Green

Card, Elizabeth Taylor enjoying his performance on a date with Colin Farell and Keith

Urban and Nicole Kidman being long-term friends. But David takes each celebrity

performance as simply ‘another day in the office’. He reminisces:

.

“Miss World was the launch of my career in South Africa…. 20 years ago this year. I

remember my then 6 month old daughter having pictures with Naomi Campbell and

Iman……. I was 23. Then there’s Charlize Therone. and I did a TV show in South

Africa called Teen Model Today when she was 19. I still remember going to her

very basic house back then. This was before she even thought about coming to the

States. Demi Moore – Let’s not forget her…… I get on well with her and was the only

entertainment at her wedding to Ashton. I sang at Ashton’s 30th birthday party before

that.”

The list of celebrity fans flocking to hear the voice of David Aldo is mind boggling –

Russell Crowe, Michael Bolton, Robbie Williams, Sylvester Stallone, Annie Lennox,

Paul McCartney, Rod Stewart, Lionel Richie……the line up is endless as David is

clearly the first choice of performer for the biggest and brightest of stars.

And now David Aldo brings his incredible talent to a global audience, with the release

of his first worldwide album, ‘David Aldo’. The Brit-born boy turned global superstar

returns home with his greatest work to date and proudly presents an awesome

collection of stunning songs to UK audiences. An upbeat serving of inspiring rock/

pop showcases the voice that has captured the world’s attention, from the gritty

vocals of ‘When You Love Someone So Much’, David’s positive twist on heartbreak

in ‘Dance In The Rain’, right through to the epic anthemic feel of ‘Grace’ – the

album ‘David Aldo’ takes us on a glorious musical journey through the world of David

Aldo. First impressions count and this is an introduction that will leave everyone

begging for more!

The UK debut album ‘David Aldo’ is released in January 2015
