Metal Knight features seven tracks, including two covers of songs from the musical Man of La Mancha, based on the character Don Quixote.
“As far as I am concerned, Don Quixote is the most metal fictional character that I know,” Lee added.
“Single handed, he is trying to change the world, regardless of any personal consequences. It is a wonderful character to sing”
Lee, who has a long history of gothic fantasy roles, explained: “I associate heavy metal with fantasy because of the tremendous power that the music delivers.”
This is the follow up to his 2010 album, “Charlemagne: By the Sword and the Cross” and “Charlemagne: The Omens of Death ” from 2013.
