“Folk-rock royalty-in-waiting” – Introducing: The Rails

The Rails are the English singer-songwriter duo of Kami Thompson (the youngest daughter of Richard and Linda Thompson) and James Walbourne (guitarist with Ray Davies and The Pretenders, amongst others). Their debut album ‘Fair Warning’ (out May 5th) was produced by Edwyn Collins and Sebastian Lewsley in North London, and revives the Island Records vintage Pink Label, home to John Martyn, Nick Drake and Fairport Convention.
