Ex Hawkwind man releases Al Chemicals Lysergic Orchestra, Vol.2

NOW READY FOR PRE-ORDER…..my latest album planned for release 1st week in Dec 2013. It’s the 2nd Vol. of my “Al Chemicals Lysergic Orchestra” series. The tracks on this album are about ‘Death Valley’. While there, old stories and the places I went to triggered off  so many ideas I had to do an album about them.!

I have a special guest on this album, my artist/designer Kevin M Sommers who was with me in Death Valley in 2011. He sings on 2 tracks, “Bad Water” and “Old Dinah”. He also plays trumpet on “Bad Water” and wrote the lyrics for “Goodbye Death Valley” (the famous 49ers story from which the name Death Valley was coined)

For this release I’ve decided on a 12 page colour booklet of photos mostly by Kevin, and one or two taken by myself as the photos warrant a whole page each 😉 Sound quality wise for me, this is the best so far now I’m using Logic 9 on an iMac and pro sound card. A big step up from what I’ve been using the last 10 years and Paul Cobbold is mastering it so say no more eh 😉
