Lisbee Stainton – New album on the way and lots more touring!

Firstly, I want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came to us play on my Spring tour! I am honestly overwhelmed by how brilliant every one of our crowds was. Thank you! Myself and my band had a blast on tour, despite all of us getting horribly ill in the middle (it was very much a ‘band down’ situation. We looked a pathetic bunch!). My heartfelt apologies to anyone who didn’t get to see us play as a result – I was really disappointed that I wouldn’t get to play some of the shows. However, I’m really looking forward to playing the rescheduled gig at The Stables in Milton Keynes on Thursday! The rest of this year is looking very exciting and this coming Sunday I’m heading into the studio to record my fourth album, which I can now reveal will be titled ‘Word Games’ and will be released this September! Following this, I’m really excited to announce that I’ll be going on a 9 date headline tour in November, which will be named after the new album! We’ll be a 4-piece band this time round, so bigger than I’ve previously toured… Can’t wait. 🙂 The Word Games Tour will be going to the following places:

9th Nov – City Varieties Music Hall, Leeds

10th Nov – The Gulbenkian Theatre, Canterbury

I’m excited to announce that I will be joining Seth Lakeman on his May tour as a special guest within his band once again! I’ll also be joining him on gigs and festivals throughout this year, including Bearded Theory Festival, Ireby Festival, Cornbury, Volksfest in Plymouth and Glastonbury, amongst others! I’ll also be playing a few festivals myself this year! These are: Ireby Festival, Volksfest, Cornbury, Llama Festival, Middlewich FAB Festival, Folk at the House, Oakham festival, Malvern Rocks Festival, Forever Sun festival, Towersey Festival and Looe Music Festival, with more to come!
