Alex Adams – fresh, vibrant and musically super charged – this incredible new singer/songwriter is the epitome of the live music experience, delivering adrenaline charged doses of his unique blend of ‘dirty pop’ to his ever growing fan base. To demonstrate his love of the live audience, Alex launches his first free download single, ‘Lola’, when he steps on stage at The Water Rats on 22 February. This is followed by the release of his first official single ‘Control’ on 15 April, with his debut EP hot on its heels on 29 April.

As an artist who’s currently courting strong label interest, the thrill of the ‘live’ performance is what drives Alex the most. Notching-up countless live performances across noteworthy venues such as The Cavern, The Borderline, The Underbelly, Rock City (to name a few), the excitement of the live performance is everything to Alex. That’s why Alex has decided that his first steps into the recording industry will be on a night that he performs a live gig, with a free gift to his fans in the form of ‘Lola’. A wistful track, which paints the picture of a girl who is bad news in every way – but is so addictive that you just can’t leave her.

Alex’s official debut single comes in the form of ‘Control’, released on 15 April. Self-penned, Adams depicts the need to take control of a situation in those times when you feel as if you’re losing your grip. The message is wrapped in the modern R&B mastery of this track which plays host to Alex’s soaring vocals – a voice that’s unique in every way to any other artist out there.
